Maria-Rosaria Omaggio is an actress who, as a young girl, became popular in Italy on screen and in TV, accumulating extensive theatrical experience. She is from 1999 a member of the Board of Directors IMAIE, Institute for rights of the equitable remuneration for public transmission of cinematographic and audio visual works, the lending right and audio private copy.

CINEMA: Her most remarkable cinema appearances were in "Roma a Mano Armata" (Rome with a gun in your hand) and "Squadra antiscippo" (Anti-theft Squadron), together with Tomas Milian and Jack Palance, "La Lozana andalusa" by Vicente Escriva, “Nightmare city” with Francisco Rabal and Mel Ferrer, "Culo e camicia" (Butt and Shirt- the chucks) with Renato Pozzetto, directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile, she was the goddes Hera in “Adventures of Hercules” with Lou Ferrigno in the main role, “Occhio nero, occhio biondo, occhio felino…” by Muzzi Loffredo (XL Venice’s Festival), "Era una Notte Buia e Tempestosa" (It was a dark and stormy night) with Alessandro Benvenuti, "Rimini Rimini l'anno dopo" (Rimini Rimini the year after) by Corbucci and "Il Generale" (The General) by Luigi Magni with Franco Nero and Erland Josephson.

TELEVISION: From 2002 she is a guest in the talk show “Italia sul 2” (Italy on 2nd). As actress in fiction she was in: "Racconti Fantastici" (Fantastic tales) by Daniele D'Anza, "Josephine” by Robert Mazoyer, "Sarto per Signora" (Ladie's tailor) by Feydeau’s play by Paolo Cavara, “La malle des Andés” and “L’homme de Suez” both directed by Christian Jaque, “Le triangle a quatre cotès” with Francois Martouret and Alain Maratrat by Jean Claude Lubjansky, "Tutto Compreso" (All included) with Ezio Greggio, Massimo Boldi and Teo Teocoli, "Incredibile" (Unbelievable), “Francois Villon” by Serge Nicolaescu, "Edera" (Ivy) and "Passioni" (Passions) directed by F. Costa, "Micaela", "Caro Maestro 2" (Dear Teacher) and "Leo e Beo" with Marco Columbro, directed by Rossella Izzo, her partner also in "Una Donna per Amico" (A Woman as a friend). At the beginning of 2001 she stars in "Donne di Mafia" (Women of the Mafia) by Giuseppe Ferrara, a TV movie in two parts for RAI Italian public television.

THEATRE: On stage she stars as "La Schiava d'Oriente" (The Slave from the Orient) by C. Goldoni, main female character in the comedy "La santa sulla scopa" (The Saint on the Broom), written and directed by Luigi Magni, "La moglie di Claudio" (Claudio's wife) by Dumas, and together with Mario Scaccia in "Il segno di Jacopone" (The mark of Jacob) and for the show "Shakespeare horror show - Henry V, Othello, Romeo and Juliet" by C. Boccaccini she receives the Award "Randone 2000". In the year 2000/2001 she was protagonist, together with P. Longhi, of the comedy "Sotto banco" (Under the desk) by Domenico Starnone, directed by S. Giordani. During “Spoleto Festival 2001” she acted on the stage of Caio Melisso Theatre "Gin and tonic", play written and directed by Silvano Spada for Maestro Menotti. During the summer 2002 she was ‘Sua signoria’ (Her Majesty) in “Le donne, i cavalier, l'arme... io canto...”, Renaissance-happening with poems, music and dances (Armonia Antiqua and Opera’s dancers) of Italian 1500 historical period, directed by Paolo Todisco and special guest Tiberio Murgia.

MUSIC: She, actually, is performing her Recital “Chiamala Vita” (“Call it Life”) about the argument “War and children”, extracted from Italo Calvino’s books, costarring the singer Grazia Di Michele and three soloist musicians: stringed, wind, percussion and accordion instruments. She recorded with this group a CD. The show is under UNICEF patronage. In Taormina-Art she will be in “The Rock”, opera of V. Spampinato, costarring the ballerina Oriella Dorella. With "L'impresario" di W. A. Mozart, opera directed by the Maestro Giuranna and staged by Tonino del Colle it started a successfull cooperation with music operas: "George e Chopin -letters in concert" with Roberto Parrozzani on the piano, "Parole a Fior D'Acqua" con A. Paolini on piano, "Alba Italica" by G. Mameli directed by Maestro Bonavolontà, with whom she realized a CD by "Das Lied Von Der Erde" (The song of the earth) di Mahler, "Zang Tumb Tumb - FuturismOggi Spettacolo concerto di teatro magnetico" with Livio Matrone and his 29 drums, "Musiche di scena" directed by Maestro Antonio di Pofi, co-starring Leopoldo Mastelloni and "Missa de Beatificatione" world-wide broadcasting in the honour of beatification of Padre Pio, composed by Maestro Sergio Rendine and libretto by Francesco Zimei, conducted by Maestro Maurizio Dones, soloist tenor Josè Carreras. Her deep reciting voice is another time with her colleague Mariano Rigillo, for the Maestro Sergio Rendine in "Passio et Resurrectio", libretto written by V. De Vivio e G. Baget Bozzo. On 27 marzo 2002 she costarred, in “Teatro dell’Opera” in Rome in “Butterfly and Parrots” with Carla Fracci, Franco Nero, Giuliana Lojodice, Mariano Rigillo, Massimo Ghini, Marta Bifano, Ennio Fantastichini, Mariangela D’Abbraccio and music KU project.

BOOKS: She has written "Viaggio nell'incredibile" (Unbelievable journey), "L'energia trasparente - curarsi con cristalli, pietre preziose e metalli" (Transparent energy - treatment with crystals, precious stones and metals), the video-book "Curarsi con cristalli, gemme e metalli" (Healing with crystals, precious stones and metals), "C’era una volta, c’è sempre e ci sarà ancora" (ONCE UPON A TIME...
